In a surprise release, Foster the People have returned with three brand new tracks. All three come from the group’s forthcoming third record, which is due out this summer .This is the first new music from the group since their 2014 album Supermodel. Feels good to hear some new Foster the People! While none of the songs are as catchy or going to blow the radio up like Pumped Up Kicks, they are still pretty good. I would have to rank them as: SHC > Pay The Man > Doing It for the Money.

Check out the new songs below and let us know what you think!

Oh Wonder surprised many with a new track last week called Ultralife. It’s their first track since their 2015 self-titled debut album and they haven’t missed a beat. They are classified as alt-pop and this track has some really cool melodies, organic percussion, synths and major key pianos that play together really well. They were a revelation in 2015 and we are hoping they continue to blow up in 2017!

Queue up the summer playlist! This one will probably get old quick as it’s going to be played nonstop on the radio and every summer bbq and get-together. Calvin Harris just makes hits and recruits some big names for this one, notably Ariana Grande and Pharrell. It’s going to be hard to top “Slide” for me, but this one is pretty good too.

Blink has decided to put out an extended/super edition of their 2016 album California and as part of that, there will be 12 (!!) new songs. The band showed off the song Misery last week and it’s great. Classic Blink 182. Looking forward to the extended version of the album on May 19

Pitbull aka Mr. Worldwide aka Mr. 305 is back with another album, this one hilariously titled Climate Change. The pop hit maker’s album is loaded with guests including Flo Rida, J-Lo, Enrique Iglesias, and Robin Thicke. Better on Me is one of the many dance songs that could be another radio hit. Feel free to check out the full album.

Nicki Minaj dropped a Remy Ma diss track featuring Drake and Lil Wayne on Friday. It was a rare Young Money reunion for the trio and is definitely more of a hit track than a diss track as it has already reached number one on iTunes in less than 24 hours. The track will apparently be on Nicki’s new album coming out later this year.

Calvin Harris has been teasing this track for awhile now on his social media and thankfully he has released “Slide” to the masses. The track features Frank Ocean and Migos. The track marks the first new piece of music from Ocean since the release of his album Blonde last year, while 2017 is shaping up to be the year of Migos. The single is expected to be on Harris’ upcoming album due out later this year. It’s a pretty chill and funky vibe but we think it definitely has hit potential – what do y’all think?

The Chainsmokers are back with another single, this time sans another artist lending their vocal talents. This one is a bit slower than their last few hits, but it is still catchy as hell and will be sure to blow up the radio across the world. Hit up the comments and let us know what you think of this one.

The Chainsmokers are back with another hit titled Closer. This song is a worthy follow up to their smash hit Don’t Let Me Down that is being played on the radio everywhere now. The DJ duo enlist the help of Halsey on this track and it feels like a great summer hit to us. Check out the lyric video below and let us know what you think.

Something good for the weekend!
