The Chainsmokers are back with another single, this time sans another artist lending their vocal talents. This one is a bit slower than their last few hits, but it is still catchy as hell and will be sure to blow up the radio across the world. Hit up the comments and let us know what you think of this one.

The Chainsmokers are back with another hit titled Closer. This song is a worthy follow up to their smash hit Don’t Let Me Down that is being played on the radio everywhere now. The DJ duo enlist the help of Halsey on this track and it feels like a great summer hit to us. Check out the lyric video below and let us know what you think.

Something good for the weekend!

2016 could very well be the year of Chance the Rapper. Many critics are saying the release of his third mixtape Coloring Book should be a strong contender for album of the year. The album definitely has a gospel type feel for it, which takes some getting used to, but overall it has great production and is entertaining. No Problem is the second song off the mixtape and features great guest verses from Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. Check out the video below and stream the album below!

YG is preparing for the release of his second studio album which is set to drop on June 17. He blesses us with two big tracks to up the anticipation. Still Brazy is the title track from the upcoming album and Why You Always Hating features Drake as a great guest.

3 Doors Down is back! “In the Dark” is the first single off their new album “Us and the Night”, released March 11. It’s their first music video in 3 years and their first album since 2011.  You’ll probably immediately recognize the main character as Walter White’s son from Breaking Bad. Two other great songs off the album are “The Broken” (our vote for their next single) and “Still Alive“, but the rest of the album was a little too soft for our taste. Download links below.

Hoodie Allen has dropped his second studio album titled Happy Camper. The 10 track album has peaked at #2 this past week on iTunes, which is surprising considering that Hoodie has also given the album as a free download to his fans (link: http://hoodieallen.com/splash/). Although the first single from the album is the catchy “Are You Having Any Fun”, the intro song to the album titled “Intro To Anxiety” is one of our favourites.

DJ Earworm (Jordan Roseman) is back with his yearly United State of Pop mashup to wrap up the year. This year he managed to mashup the top 50 songs into a single track (previously it was only the top 25). Personally, we think this year’s version isn’t quite as good as last year’s United State of Pop 2014, you’ll notice it’s a little slower pace. “Music has been going through a softer phase than it was a few years ago so there’s that return of adult contemporary” said DJ Earworm. Still, it’s always amazing he’s able to merge that many hits into one; you can get a copy of the track to download free here.

Just a month after the single No Pressure featuring Snoop Dogg leaked, Classified now has a video out for the biggest collaboration off his upcoming album “Greatful” out January 15th. It’s too bad they weren’t able to get Snoop Dogg for the video, however they came up with a clever solution to it and you do hear him on a couple phone calls during the video. The video also features cameos by Jonathan Torrens, Tom Green, and Ron Jeremy. Check out the previously released music video Filthy off the album as well. Class is headed out on a serious tour across Canada to promote the new album, and all dates are up on his website so check it to see if he’ll be in your town (sadly no US tour dates posted yet). Pre-order Classified’s new album “Greatful” below.

DJ Khaled has released his second single from his upcoming album I Changed Alot, produced by Lee on the Beats, scheduled to be out by the end of the year. This follows the release of the first single off the album; Hold You Down, which also featured Chris Brown. Despite Lil Wayne being featured in this one, since the making of it DJ Khaled has left the Cash Money music label. Which is interesting to hear after Bow Wow recently quit Cash Money (who hasn’t released an album since 2009) to head back to work with Snoop Dogg. Even Lil Wayne and Birdman have been in a battle over royalties and release dates for months, so there’s quite a bit of drama over at Cash money right now.
