After a seven-year hiatus, N.E.R.D just released their first single titled “Lemon”. The group which consists of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shae Haley has been off the scene since their fourth album, Nothing, in 2010. The banger features Rihanna who is rapping on the track – which is a new but awesome sound for her. Their upcoming album doesn’t have a release date yet, but its rumored title is No One Ever Really dies and will have features with stars like Kendrick Lamar, André 3000, M.I.A., Gucci Mane, Future, Wale, and Ed Sheeran.

Ester Dean made waves in the hip-hop scene in ’09 with her hit Drop it Low ft. Chris Brown and then being featured on MGK – Invincible in 2012. In 2015 she ventured into pop with a hit for the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack; Crazy Youngsters. Now she’s jumping into another genre, EDM, with Afrojack and David Guetta. The last big collaboration between Afrojack and Guetta was Hey Mama ft. Nicki Minaj. The video is animated by Sanghon Kim, features a robot woman, almost giving vibes of Ghost in the Shell, with the movie coming out recently.

Few people will remember this, but this is not the First Time that Kygo and Ellie Goulding have actually worked together (see what we did there?). Well, kind of; in 2014 Kygo was just breaking onto the scene when he released a High For This (Remix) of Ellie Goulding’s 2012 cover of The Weeknd. Kygo’s come a long way since then and now he gets to work with Goulding on an original track. First Time is a follow up hit to another recent collaboration Kygo did with Selenia Gomez titled It Aint Me. The last time we posted on Kygo was his hit Carry Me (2016) and Goulding was On My Mind (2015) .

The duo of last year’s beer pong anthem Pong Dance is back! This time Vigiland is taking over the repeat button on your Friday nights. With a very similar target audience to that of Pong Dance, their 2014 hit Shots and Squats has been their most successful hit to date.

Update May 11: Vigiland has now released the music video for Friday Night:

I’ve found Krewella have been hit or miss ever since their smash hit Alive back in 2013. They have explored different sounds and styles but seem to have found another great track with the release of Team. They are back in the studio working on new music for a potential new album. Hopefully it has more of the same sound as this single, we are really digging it.

DJ Snake’s new video The Half is riding off the success of his last month hit Let Me Love You ft. Justin Bieber. Previous to that, you probably recognize the french producer most famously for his hit with Lil Jon – Turn Down for WhatThe Half is DJ Snake’s 4th official single off his debut album Encore.

Felix Jaehn is back with what is sure to be his first hit of 2016. Bonfire features ALMA in the song and video, she was a contestant on The Voice Finland 3 years ago and this year in June had a hit Karma (also worth a download). Now that she’s scored a feature on a Felix Jaehn track I’m sure we’ll be seeing her featured on several more hits in the future. We featured Felix last year for his 2015 hit Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) and if you’re looking for more he released Book Of Love later in 2015 as well.

Hey look at that, a good John Legend song! All it took was him in a different genre 😉. The last time we featured a single from Tiesto was his Light Years Away music video in 2014. Speaking of 2014, you might remember Tiesto and John Legend actually had a previous collaboration together for All of Me in 2014.

Timeflies is an American duo that have been around since 2010. They have gained popularity by doing their Timeflies Tuesdays, where they will post content to their YouTube channel every Tuesday. This includes videos of remixes, performing live covers, and freestyling over original beats. Once In A While was released this year and is seriously catchy and a feel good summer beat. The video dropped last week and is pretty cool and well done. Check it out and let us know what you think!

David Guetta’s new video is for his upcoming album Listen Again out Nov 27. Listen Again is a re-release of his 2014 album Listen. The single is a remix of a track off his previous album that adds a rap verse from Fetty Wap, who’s hot right now after his chart-topper Trap Queen, and as before features Sia (who we last heard on Eminem’s Gut’s Over Fear single). We’re expecting another video off the album soon for Clap Your Hands as we got a teaser for it last week.
