Oh Wonder surprised many with a new track last week called Ultralife. It’s their first track since their 2015 self-titled debut album and they haven’t missed a beat. They are classified as alt-pop and this track has some really cool melodies, organic percussion, synths and major key pianos that play together really well. They were a revelation in 2015 and we are hoping they continue to blow up in 2017!

Bleachers are back with their first song in awhile, called Don’t Take The Money. It will be the first single of their sophomore album to be released later this year. This track was written with Lorde, who also has backing vocals on the song. Bleachers is led by Jack Antonoff, who was part of the group Fun and helped write Lorde’s album Melodrama. This is a super catchy and fun song and we are excited for more Bleachers later this year.

The Chainsmokers have recruited Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for their newest single titled Something Just Like This. This song has just leaked online and looks like it will be from the Chainsmokers’ debut LP, Memories…Do Not Open. Can’t wait for this album and it’s a pretty great tune!

After taking a year off, Ed Sheeran is back with two new tracks from his upcoming album. After much teasing on social media he drops off Shape of You and Castle On The Hill. We definitely prefer the catchier Shape of You of the two releases and these songs are already starting to blow up on the radio across the world. 2017 should be a big year for Ed Sheeran!

Post updated Jan 23, 2017 with new official music video for Castle On The Hill.

Tove Lo said the music video was inspired by the “cool girl” monologue from the movie “Gone Girl”. Her next album “Lady Wood” comes out October 28th. Besides “Cool Girl” no other tracks from the new album had been released until this morning, Tove Lo released “Influence (feat. Wiz Khalifa)”. Listen below:

Tove Lo’s last hit was Moments last year. If you enjoyed that one, since then a Felix Snow – Moments (Remix) came out we recommend checking out.

I first heard this song a couple months ago while Pat was in town on the speakers in a clothing store and shouted across the store for him to Shazam it. I keep coming back to it so I figured I’d share. It was “Part of Me” by Phases, is an indie pop band from LA. When I checked out their Youtube channel, I discovered they gained some popularity with their debut music video last year; I’m In Love With My Life, but not too much since then. Like Part of Me, a lot of their beats have an almost circa-michael-jackson sound, eg. see Cooler, and Betty Blue. None of which I like quite as much as this one, so I’m hoping they put out more like this.

I had never heard of this guy until yesterday when one of our favourite rappers (who is hopefully making a return to the rap game) XV tweeted out that he was listening to and loving Jon Bellion’s new album. I decided to check it out and it is definitely solid. The Human Condition is Bellion’s debut album and is definitely a blend of rap, pop, indie and electronic. It’s a super unique and catchy sound. All Time Low is a standout track from the album, check it out below and let us know what you think!

Blast from the past: Blink 182 are back with two new tracks for the upcoming release of their new album titled California. Tom Delonge is no longer with the band and Matt Skiba has taken over for him. The new album will be released on July 1 and the band will be doing a tour to promote it. The first two songs definitely have that Blink feel to them! Which one do you like more? Let us know in the comments!

Sia is back to kick things off in 2016 with a new track called Reaper. Interestingly enough, this song is co-produced by Kanye West. The track has an upbeat, catchy feel to it. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

Mash-up extraordinaire duo The White Panda are back with their sixth (!) album titled The Pawprint. Once again, they do mash-ups that you never thought were possible and make them sound awesome (Backstreet Boys and TuPac? Rihanna and Kongos? lol and so many other super cool blends). Check out the continuous mix of the album below or check out here for a track by track listing/playing.

This one should be a pretty good way to get the party started on a Saturday night!
