DJ Khaled dropped a surprise track featuring Queen B and Jay right after the Grammy awards on Sunday night. The song is the first single off Khaled’s upcoming album. This is the first song the couple has appeared on together since 2013’s Drunk In Love. The cover art for the song also features Khaled’s son Ashad all dressed up.

Check out the song and let us know what you think!

In December, Kid Cudi released his sixth album, Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin. One of the standout tracks that didn’t previously leak was By Design featuring the great Andre 3000. The album was hit or miss, with some solid tracks where he sounded like the classic Kid Cudi that made him rise to popularity, but then other tracks where he continues to mumble and do his annoying auto-tune “singing”. Check out this track and let us know what you think.

I stumbled across this song on one of Spotify’s playlists last month and it’s stuck with me (I blame the piano bit in the chorus). Tucker is from LA and is preparing to release an EP titled All In soon. Just Wanna hit 1 million plays in under two months on Spotify. Check out the tune below and let us know if you agree that Tate Tucker is gonna blow up in 2017.

We are definitely late posting this one, but it’s still worthy of a post. Redbone is one of the standout tracks from Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino’s third studio album Awaken My Love! The whole album is a different experience and Gambino doesn’t rap at all on the whole album. It has a very jazz/funk/soul vibe to it, but is catchy as hell. Glover had a fantastic 2016 with his award winning show Atlanta on FX coming out to very positive reviews and then the release of this album. 2017 should be another big year for the multi-talented artist.

Mike Stud is back with a new track called Shine. He brings his buddy Marcus Stroman – starting pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays who provides a solid guest verse. The StroShow holds his own on the song and has even already announced that he will use the song as his intro for games next year. I would certainly be ok if these two put out a collab album in the near future, as they are pretty good at putting out bangers together!

Mura Masa just released a brand new single titled Love$ick featuring A$AP Rocky. Mura Masa is a British electronic music producer who is quickly becoming recognized worldwide. This is a catchy beat and solid bars from Rocky – check it out below and let us know what you think

DJ Khaled’s Major Key album is now out on iTunes and there are many great tracks so we recommend checking it out. This one here is a standout track from the album, where Kendrick and Big Sean both spit some great verses and Betty Wright is on the hook. Which rapper had the better verse? Let us know below.

Another standout track from the album is J. Cole’s “Jermaine’s Interlude” – check it out here.

Jazz Cartier - Hotel Paranoia

Jazz Cartier is a Canadian rapper from Toronto. His most recent mixtape dropped in February and this is definitely a stand out track. He’s got a neat 360° music video for Red Alert/100 Roses on Youtube. I discovered him when i came across his latest track Lil Wayne, a tribute to his favorite rapper. Be sure to keep an eye out for this guy, we predict he will blow up soon!

I had never heard of this guy until yesterday when one of our favourite rappers (who is hopefully making a return to the rap game) XV tweeted out that he was listening to and loving Jon Bellion’s new album. I decided to check it out and it is definitely solid. The Human Condition is Bellion’s debut album and is definitely a blend of rap, pop, indie and electronic. It’s a super unique and catchy sound. All Time Low is a standout track from the album, check it out below and let us know what you think!

In case you missed it, Chris Brown released his first single from his upcoming album Heartbreak on a Full Moon. This track is a bit slower than the usual one on BTC, but it is pretty catchy and we thought we would share. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
